ALP Launches Frontier Collection: New Cowboy Coffee, Cinnamon, and Mango Pouches
ALP has officially expanded its lineup with the Frontier Collection, a limited-edition release featuring Cowboy Coffee, Campfire Cinnamon, and Sunset Mango pouches. Announced on August 18, 2026, this launch introduces 4mg and 8mg nicotine strengths to the brand for the first time. If you prefer the rich profile of the collection's lead flavor, you can find similar options in our coffee flavored tobacco and pouches selection. This article details the new dry-pouch hardware, the specific flavor profiles, and how these new nicotine levels fit into the existing ALP catalog.
It is a different kind of pouch from the ALP cans currently available in retail, and for now, it is sold exclusively through the brand's own website. This launch represents a significant shift in both flavor profile and hardware for the rapidly growing brand.

What is in the Frontier Collection
According to ALP's announcement, distributed by PR Newswire, the three flavors were chosen from the profiles customers requested most:
- Cowboy Coffee: A bold, coffee-inspired pouch designed for fans of coffee-flavored tobacco and pouches.
- Campfire Cinnamon: Pairs warm cinnamon with what the brand calls a "fireside finish."
- Sunset Mango: Leans tropical and sweet with a smooth finish, fitting into the popular tropical cigars and nicotine collection.
The strengths are the more practical change. ALP's core lineup runs 3mg, 6mg, 9mg, and 12mg, and the Drifters line comes in 6mg and 12mg. Frontier is sold only in 4mg and 8mg, and those two strengths are exclusive to the collection, Nicotine Insider reported. That takes ALP's full range to six strengths, from 3mg to 12mg, and fills the gaps for adults who found 3mg too light and 6mg too strong, or who wanted a step between 6mg and 9mg.
The pouch itself is also new. ALP's core and Drifters products use a high-moisture formulation in 20-pouch cans. Frontier uses a thinner, drier pouch the company describes as more discreet and built for a different mouthfeel, and it comes in 15-pouch tins, according to Nicotine Insider's September 23 report on the line. The tins get a western look as well: sun-washed colors inspired by weathered leather and a reworked "ALP Man" logo wearing a bandana.

The Campaign Behind the Launch
ALP built the launch around the slogan "Tame Your Frontier" and a short film produced with creator Dave "Heavy D" Sparks. The shoot used a live horse roundup, a Black Hawk helicopter, and cowboy Chance Gilliland, with the pouches placed in the scenes rather than edited in afterward, the company said.
The brand is also partnering with Teton Ridge for product placement at sponsored rodeo events and social content with the Arizona Ridge Riders, alongside email and text promotions and tie-ins across the outdoor, rodeo, and combat-sports communities.
"The frontier has always been a mindset. The new strengths are meant to serve market segments the brand had not reached before." — Lorenzo De Plano, ALP CEO
Market Position and Growth
ALP launched in November 2024 as a direct-to-consumer brand and later moved into convenience-store retail. The company has cited Nielsen data showing it captured nearly 1% of U.S. convenience-store nicotine pouch sales within 90 days of that retail debut. This growth mirrors recent moves by industry leaders, such as when ZYN debuted on Ferrari F1 cars to push smoke-free alternatives.
For Turning Point Brands, pouches are the growth engine. In its September 21 leadership announcement, where David Glazek was named CEO, the company reaffirmed 2026 guidance of $330 million to $350 million in gross sales for its Modern Oral segment, which includes ALP and the FRE brand.

What it Means for Shoppers
The honest caveat first: Frontier is currently a direct-to-consumer exclusive. ALP has not said whether Cowboy Coffee, Campfire Cinnamon, or Sunset Mango, or the 4mg and 8mg strengths, will reach wholesale and retail channels. You will not find the Frontier tins at A2Z Tobacco or in convenience stores for now.
However, A2Z does carry ALP's Drifters line, the brand's fruit-and-ice collection, in both of its strengths. The 12mg Drifters collection includes Blueberry Lemonade Ice, Island Peach, Lemon Raspberry, Mango Freeze, and Watermelon Kiwi Ice. If you are looking for alternatives in the meantime, you can explore our full range of tobacco-free nicotine pouches.
Keep in mind that nicotine pouches are addictive and are not a cessation product. FDA marketing authorizations in the pouch category have so far gone to ZYN nicotine pouches and on! products; ALP has not announced one for its lineup. Nicotine pouch taxes and flavor rules also vary by state, so pricing and availability depend on where you live.
The Bottom Line
The Frontier Collection is ALP's most complete product update since the brand launched: three new flavors, two new strengths, a new pouch format, and a cinematic marketing push to match. Its direct-to-consumer exclusivity limits what retailers can offer today, but the new 4mg and 8mg options and the thinner-pouch format are the details to watch if ALP brings them to store shelves in the future.
