Havana Leaf Goes Small: Dominican Whole-Leaf Wraps Now Come in $1.99 Two-Packs

Havana Leaf, a newer natural-leaf wrap brand that hand-cuts its wraps from premium whole tobacco leaf in the Dominican Republic, has officially added a pocket-sized format to its lineup. The "Little Havana" line packs two smaller wraps in a resealable pouch pre-priced at $1.99, sold in boxes of 20 pouches.

The two-packs reached online tobacco retailers in July 2026, and the Havana Leaf Little Wraps Pre-Priced $1.99 were added to inventory on July 23. This move represents the brand's first significant expansion into the Pre-Priced Tobacco & Cigars tier that currently dominates the convenience-store wrap aisle.

What Changed: Format and Pricing

Until this summer, Havana Leaf primarily sold one format: full-size wraps in eight pouches of five, typically retailing at roughly $48 per box. Retailers have carried that Havana Leaf Tobacco Wraps line since 2023 in flavors such as Natural, Honey Bourbon, Strawberry Cream, Grape Soda, Banana Cream, and Russian Cream.

The new Little Havana two-packs significantly lower the price of entry. A pouch holds two wraps and carries a printed $1.99 price. Boxes of 20 pouches list between $31.99 and $32.99 online, which works out to approximately 80 cents per wrap, compared to roughly $1.20 per wrap in the traditional five-packs. Retailers describe the small format as "designed for easy portability."

Expanded Flavor Profiles

The flavor list for the Little Havana line is broader than the original full-size line. Across retailers, the two-packs appear in ten distinct varieties:

  • Natural Havana (unflavored)
  • Sweet Aromatic
  • Russian Cream
  • Strawberry Cream
  • Honey Bourbon
  • Chocolate Stout
  • Gelato
  • Georgia Peach
  • Purple Havana (grape)
  • Yellow Havana

Currently, seven of those flavors are available in the new format, including Chocolate Stout, Georgia Peach, Gelato, and the Purple and Yellow variants. Notably, these dessert-inspired profiles do not yet exist in the brand's original five-pack line.

Production and Origin

Havana Leaf describes its product as hand-made wraps

"cut from premium whole-leaf tobacco grown and processed in the Dominican Republic,"
the same origin as many high-end natural-leaf cigarillos. Retailers characterize the company as "brand new on the market," though it has quickly established a presence with a loyalty program and wholesale options.

Whole-leaf wraps like these sit in the same category as Fronto Leaf Tobacco Wraps and brands such as Loose Leaf or Al Capone Wraps. Unlike homogenized "blunt wraps," these are single pieces of natural leaf, which typically results in a slower burn and a more authentic tobacco flavor profile.

Market Impact for Adult Consumers

The two-pack format serves as an entry point for adult smokers who may be hesitant to commit to a full box of a single flavor. The $1.99 pre-price is printed directly on the pouch, ensuring price consistency across different retail locations, though state and local tobacco taxes still apply. Several of the new flavors, including Gelato and Chocolate Stout, reflect the dessert-profile trends driving growth across the Natural Leaf Wrapper category this year.

Shoppers should note two caveats: as a young brand, availability may fluctuate as the new format ramps up production. Furthermore, these are tobacco products; whole-leaf wraps contain nicotine, which is addictive, and flavored tobacco wraps remain subject to regional restrictions.

The Bottom Line

Havana Leaf is following a proven industry playbook: entering the pre-priced two-count pouch market to secure space on the wrap walls of convenience stores and smoke shops. By offering ten flavors at a $1.99 price point, the brand has lowered the barrier for adult smokers to sample Dominican whole-leaf wraps, positioning itself alongside long-established labels in the Tobacco Wraps category.
