Good Times Moves Its Mini Cigarillos to a $1.29 Pre-Price in Line's Second Recent Increase

Good Times, the Tampa-based cigar company behind one of the biggest budget cigarillo lines in the country, has raised the printed price on its three-count Mini cigarillos. Pouches that once carried a 99-cent price and then a $1.19 price are now arriving at retailers marked $1.29. A2Z Tobacco received its first $1.29 Good Times Mini boxes on September 16, 2026, and other online tobacco retailers list the new price point as a fresh arrival that "replaces the old $1.19 in the Good Times lineup."

What is changing

Good Times Minis are short, foil-wrapped cigarillos sold three to a pouch, 15 pouches to a box. The manufacturer's site lists nine styles: Classic Green, Black Diamond, Black Sweet, White Grape, Sweet, Watermelon, Green Sweet, Diamond, and Blueberry.

Pre-priced packaging is the norm in this segment. The price is printed on the pouch, which lets convenience stores ring up a uniform amount and lets manufacturers compete on a visible number. It also means a price change requires new packaging, so a new pre-price shows up as a distinct SKU rather than a quiet shelf-tag edit. That is what retailers are seeing now:

Pre-priced packaging serves as a fixed retail benchmark in the value cigarillo segment.

The move mirrors the brand's earlier step. When Good Times retired the 99-cent Minis in favor of $1.19, retailer copy at the time attributed the change to rising manufacturing costs while promising the same product. The company's HD cigarillos and its 4K four-packs already sit at $1.29, so the Minis are catching up to the rest of the value lineup rather than jumping ahead of it.

Good Times has not issued a press release on the change, and it is possible some flavors will remain on $1.19 packaging until existing stock sells through.

The company behind the brand

Good Times USA sells roughly a billion machine-made cigars a year under the Good Times, 4K, and Sweet Woods names, according to reporting on the company earlier in 2026. In March the company announced a new premium, handmade cigar division led by president Pablo Toranzo, complete with its own retail brands, an e-commerce site, and a walk-in humidor at its Tampa headquarters. The mass-market cigarillos remain the core of the business.

Why now

Budget cigars are under pressure from several directions. Category data published in NACS Magazine in August 2026 put cigar unit sales down 5.9 percent in convenience stores for 2025, and a CStore Decisions category review reported little cigars fell nearly 24 percent in dollar sales, with cigarillos described by one category manager as among the most regulation-sensitive products he handles. Flavor bans at the state and local level have removed products from shelves in some markets, and manufacturers of pre-priced cigarillos have been nudging price points upward to protect margins as volumes fall.

What it means for shoppers

A dime a pouch is small on its own, but it adds up across a box, and it is a signal that the sub-$1.30 cigarillo is getting harder to hold. For now, A2Z customers can compare both versions side by side: the $1.19 boxes while they last, and the new $1.29 Diamond boxes at /products/good-mini-1-29-cigarillos. The full Good Times range, including Sweet Woods natural-leaf cigarillos and flat wraps, is available for evaluation.

Keep in mind that the printed price is a suggested retail figure. State and local excise taxes are added on top in many jurisdictions, and flavored cigarillos are restricted or unavailable in some states and cities. Cigarillos are combustible tobacco, and nicotine is addictive.

The bottom line

Good Times Minis are moving from $1.19 to $1.29, the same price point the company already uses for its HD and 4K lines. Shoppers who prefer the old packaging can still find it for the moment, but the $1.29 pouch is the future of the line.
