White Owl Teases Arctic Grape as Its Next Limited-Edition Cigarillo

White Owl has quietly put its next limited-edition flavor on the board. The brand's website now lists Arctic Grape as a "coming soon" limited edition, pitching it as a bold grape cigarillo built for a smooth, start-to-finish smoke that "won't be around for long."

The listing did not exist on the brand's cigarillo page as recently as early June, according to an Internet Archive capture of the site, which makes Arctic Grape the first new White Owl limited edition announced since the summer's Red, White & Berry run.

What White Owl Has Said So Far

The Arctic Grape page is short on specifics. There is no launch date, no pack format, and no pricing, only the "coming soon" tag and a product image showing the familiar White Owl two-count pouch. The brand's site groups it with three other limited editions that are marked "now available": Mountain Berry, a mixed-berry blend; Maple Bourbon, a cocktail-inspired flavor; and Cherry Wine.

Retailer listings for recent White Owl limited editions such as Mountain Berry show the usual format of 30 pre-priced two-packs per box, typically stickered at $1.19, so Arctic Grape is likely to follow the same pattern when it ships.

Arctic Grape will sit alongside two permanent grape flavors White Owl already sells, White Grape and the original Grape. The "Arctic" name suggests a cooler, sharper take on the flavor, but the brand has not described the blend beyond calling the grape taste "bold." Anyone expecting a menthol-style chill should wait for the pouches to land rather than assume.

Why White Owl Keeps Rotating Limited Editions

Limited editions are a core part of how White Owl competes in convenience stores. According to CStore Decisions, the brand's Red, White & Berry cigarillo, which launched in July 2025, won the cigar category of the trade magazine's 2026 Hot New Products contest in August.

The magazine put White Owl's share of the flavored homogenized-tobacco-leaf cigar segment at 43 percent.

Rotating in a new flavor every few months keeps that shelf space fresh and gives retailers a reason to reset displays. This strategy has proven successful for the brand, which maintains a massive presence in the pre-priced tobacco market.

Supply Chain Considerations

There is a supply-chain wrinkle worth knowing. White Owl is a Swedish Match Cigars brand owned by PMI U.S., and in March 2026 the company said it would wind down its cigar factory in Dothan, Alabama, cutting roughly 54 jobs while keeping about 20 employees on temporarily. Local coverage identified the plant as a producer of White Owl and Game cigarillos. PMI U.S. did not give a closing date or say where production of the brand's limited editions would move, so it is not yet clear whether Arctic Grape's rollout timing is tied to that transition.

What It Means for A2Z Tobacco Shoppers

  • Watch the White Owl collection: A2Z Tobacco currently stocks about 25 White Owl cigarillo varieties and will list Arctic Grape once distributors ship it. Limited editions tend to sell through in weeks, so early boxes go fast.
  • Know your state's rules: Flavored cigars cannot be sold at retail in California and Massachusetts, and several cities and counties have their own flavor bans. A limited edition that is legal to ship to one address may not be legal at another.
  • Do not confuse it with White Grape: Arctic Grape is a separate, temporary product. If you like the permanent White Owl White Grape Cigarillos, that one is not going anywhere.

The Bottom Line

White Owl has announced Arctic Grape as its next limited-edition cigarillo, but only the name, the flavor direction, and a "coming soon" tag are public. The brand's recent track record with limited editions suggests this one will get a real push when it ships. Until White Owl or its distributors publish a date, treat it as a heads-up rather than a product you can buy today.
